Bye Bye Greece

I want my LP's, unscratched, I want our dog too but you can keep the house.
No way, they owe 350 billion euros - they can have the LPs and the dog, but I'm definitely asking to take the house.

I don't want to be a dick to Hellball, but I am looking forward to cheap Grecian holidays.

On the serious side, I am not looking forward to the potential termination of the European dream.
What, pray tell, is the European dream? I'm only aware of the American dream, and I've heard you have to be asleep to believe it.
#2 In five years time they'll still owe 350 billion euros but the euro will be so decimated in value.....They are the only 'winners' so it's better to take the dog and LP's :(
#3 The European dream is where a British guy can wake up next to a French girl.
If we take the house, at least we can rent it to recoup some losses. Except the house in this case is a couple of islands in the Aegean and we rent it via tourist traps and nightclubs.

Greece is a nice sunny country. Why didn't they use at least some of that money to construct gigantic solar farms, which over 100 years might make Greece as a massive exporter of energy to the rest of the eurozone - particularly useful to make bills go down (esp making electrical heating more affordable).

#3, the European dream in the sense of a cluster of countries acting in a unified manner to meet objectives of mutual interest. Instead, the Greek PM seems to have a dream to crash and burn it - despite his nation benefitting from the goodwill of the other eurozone countries over the past 5 years.
I sincerely hope they get kicked out of the Eurozone. I have no sympathy for the thievish Greek government and its deluded enablers.
I wonder if you would consider the fact that your own governments are also thieves and deluded, corrupt profiteers?
My opinion is heavily biased ... so no, in this case I view us (the nations who kept Greece alive all this time) as the good guys in this struggle. Debts of billions of Euros will never be paid back ... for someone who would flip the shit out if a "friend" of mine wouldn't return a loan of only a hundred Euros, I'm simply amazed at the brazeness with which the Greek state is acting in this crisis.
tl;dr, there is no way in hell this vote has given Greece a stronger hand in negotiations - if anything it has only riled those who were helping it. We can only feel sorry for the Greek people.
