What's the best way to get better at blitz?

Get experienced. Skill and speed will come.

That doesn’t sound like a sensible approach.

Yeap I agree....Bullet doesn't count. If you have the time try rapid or classical. 5 months ago, I was at your blitz rating and trying to grind away but nothing would work no matter how many tutorials I watched (also try chess vibes or hanging pawns because levy is great but mainly for entertainment and fun not for true learning lol) it wouldn't work..

So I gave classical a go. At first I was reluctant but the more I played the more I liked it. Now, I don't care about my blitz anymore lol. Achieving the same thing in classic or rapid is more of an achievement and also if you play one classical game a day you will be almost immune to tilt..
This has got to be a troll post.

Beats up 2300s on both bullet and blitz. Proceeds to lose to 900s in blitz.

Some people play hyperbullet. I know a few people (I won't name) are 1300 blitz and 1900 or almost 2000 in bullet. If they are good with the mouse they can farm bullet points by playing hyper and get a high rating quickly.

Let's ignore his bullet stats then.

Look at his blitz games. Best wins and worst defeats.

It shouldn't be counted, even the beginners like me are lucky enough to win sometimes against more skilled opponents.
I always use my secret weapon to win against strong opponents - the Grob opening, which is actually an unbreakable one, unlike other weak openings such as d4.
I never resigned in my bullet games and always used the Grob opening - that's the key reason why my rating is higher.

Oh! OP violated TOS! Lol! And was asking us how to get better! Probably found cheating as best way and hence the result!
