CK's game analysis room!

Hey everyone. I've decided to analyze some games for free. Please send in your game if it meets these two requirements:

#1 the game is a blitz or standard time control
#2 your rating is under 1800

due to time constraints, I'll only be able to analyze one game per day.
I think you're too close to my rating for me to be of any help. :P
Ok great! I will analyze it as soon as I can!
Ok starting off; it was a good game from you with no big mistakes. I think 3.Nc3 is a bit unorthodox. In d4 openings you usually want to have the c pawn in front of your knight. Not that it’s a mistake, but I prefer 4.Bf4 over e3, which blocks in the bishop. 7. Qd2 is a bit inaccurate as your opponent showed with 7…Ne4, gaining a tempo on the queen. 11.Bxe4 allowed dxe4 forcing your knight to an undesirable square. I like that you chose for opposite side castling with 15.O-O-O! After 21…e5?, you quickly dismantled your opponents position.
If you have any other questions about the game, please ask!
First of all, it’s good to see you’re trying games against higher rated opponents. It’s always a good learning opportunity to get crushed. :P Starting off, the first inaccuracy was 6.Qe2. Bb3 was better, keeping the bishop pair. It would be too greedy for black to take the e4 pawn as after 5.Bb3 6…Nxe4 7.Qe2, or 7.O-O and white’s development provides clear compensation. 7.c3 allowed 7…Nxc4 8.Qxc4 Nxe4, and black can hit white’s queen later with d5. 8…Bg4 was a bad move from your opponent letting you gain a tempo with f3! On move 12 you missed an opportunity to capture towards the center with cxd4. 15.h3 left your king weak on the dark squares. Unfortunately, 16.g4?? lost the game to 16…cxd4, and after you captured their bishop, your kingside was irrevocably damaged, and as you know 19.bxc3 dropped the queen.
