do you guys like the idea of 1. e4 Nc6 2. f4 g5 ? it's my pet gambit! obviously d5 is the best move but g5 is a crazy line!

no you definitely get some compensation. it's like a scandy with more room for the queen.
I beat a 1644 on chess.com with this line, anyone else have success with it? I'm going to try to challenge some titled players before the next titled tuesday I'll see how it goes.
I think it's a nice weapon in a live game and can be dangerous for players under 2000. But correspondence games played by leveled up players should find a way to punish it.
I am going to try this line out in one of my bullet games.
should score well as bullet is a lot based on pattern recognition and this line shouldn't figure as usual for seasoned players.
