Challenge 2500 | 3. A Step Forward!

Congratulations on your good result. It seems like you are on the right path. Just curious why you play those 3+2. Is it mostly for fun or do you think it helps you that much in classical chess? Woulndt it be more efficient to play 10+5 or something similar in order to train your openings?
Thank you for your interesting report. Good luck in your next tournament - and I look forward to your next blog post.
I'm really enjoying this series of blog posts. Thanks a bunch!
Thank you very much for reading @Tenakel @theosis101, have a great week!
@starmarti89 Thank you & you're right, playing 3+2 is meant to be more of a temporary thing with the purpose of avoiding 'rustiness' by playing a little bit of chess every day. My goal though is to find training partners similar in rating who are willing to play training games regularly (trying to improve their chess themselves), then I'll introduce rapid games to my schedule and reduce or get rid entirely of the blitz part.
I didn't know about listudy and the Blind Tactics on there, or about chesstempo and its many training tools. Very helpful, thank you! And good luck! (:
