@SergeyDon Google and Mozilla dropped support for XP and Vista. The last versions of these browsers that you can install on XP or Vista are too old and won't work.
You can try your luck with PaleMoon backports, several people reported back and said it works in XP:

But you really should move to Linux, since XP is not secure anymore. Here's how you can make a bootable USB stick with Linux:

The new version is not so good when playing on a PC. The clock disappear of the screen, as you are playing and the moves are recorded. This make it very difficult to keep your eye on the clock especially when playing BLITZ games.
With time passing i am used to of v2 and expect everyone would be , i request Admin to reform the coding or whatever technical term for it so as we can see the chats of previous games played with an opponent.

maybe the sluggyness is just du to cosmetic changes but i feel like time decreases more than before in bullet

I'm a primary school teacher and use lichess with my students sometimes. They enjoy playing each other via the "Play with a friend" option. They are sitting next to each other and they used to manually type in the URL on their computers. Now they have a lot of trouble doing that since the link is partly hidden (I know that there are workarounds but try to explain that to a firstgrader). Any chance that the URL window could be made a bit wider so that the link isn't cut off anymore?
@mishi9001 that doesn't seem to be an intentional cut of the URL. I made an issue on github, maybe it will be fixed soon. Keep up the good work!
My problems with lags when short on time persists. I use the same browser (firefox, actualized) as with previous version of lichess. Same computer, same everything. I never had problems before, literally NEVER. Now at the start of the game it's ok, but at the end when I have few seconds, I catch the piece, want to move it and it freezes, moves after 1-2 seconds and eventually makes me lose on time. I play 3+2 so I am able to finish winning positions with low time, but now with these lags it's not possible and it's no fun to play anymore.
