can i have some advice

most of the time when i play a game i play the same repertoire of
openings but always seem to be recalculating every move as i play the game even though i know i have played a similar position before.
has any one else kept thinking the same moves in familiar positions before and if you would be able to help?
If you are stuggling to remember your opening lines then maybe it is time to invest in some rote learning. memchess and chess position trainer are two websites you may want to check out. I've only played round with the latter but you can upload your own PGNs there.
With all due respect perhaps bullet is not the best time control to play if you are second guessing yourself in the opening stage. I would think that there is not much time to waste! Maybe switching to Blitz or Classical could help you gain confidence in your repertoire
I see that you don't have a classical rating. If you want to improve, you need to take time.
Start by playing real games instead of mouse-click battles called bullet. 5' + 5" for instance. Analyse every game you play, first without an engine/book (very important, you have to think for yourself) and later with an engine/book.
Regarding the opening stage: recognize what moves are incorrect, why you made those mistakes and most importantly, learn why the best move is the best move.
I often trick people with transposition ideas in the opening. By playing by rote what you normally play in similar positions can get you a lost game before move ten. Unless you know the opening lines properly, you should stop and recheck every strange move.
I play the same opening in every game. After some years I know them very well. If I lose it's not because of the opening.
