* Silly Question About Sharing Studies and Etiquette *

I'm interested in taking lessons and I've found about three coaches I'm curious to purchase time with to get my feet wet. I'm interested to try multiple coaches initially for the purpose of experiencing different teaching approaches en route to settling with one or two who are a good fit for me. I've imported my games into a study, and it seems I'll need to invite my prospective coaches to the study. It appears to me that they'll then be able to see each other and each other's comments in my study. Is that true? And is it going to seem awkward or rude for me to invite several different coaches to the same games' collection study? Is there a way to privatize this process and keep the coaches from feeling like they're stepping on one another's toes? Any input would be appreciated, as I'm new to the studies component of lichess. Thanks! - Daniel
Hey Daniel,

If you use the same study with them then they will see each other's comments. You could just clone your studies, and then share them with the coaches individually. I don't think anyone should have a problem with what you are doing. I think it is reasonable that you try out a few coaches, and see who works best for you, but it might just be more convenient for you to keep these studies separate so you can review at a later date what each individual said.

Good luck, and hope you find a good coach!
Thanks, Manshuv! The cloning feature solves my problem beautifully!
