Computer analysis not working

I am guessing the API key to run fishnet is linked to the user's profile? I am not sure how it's currently setup but it would be awesome to offer users who are running fishnet to run their own game analysis (and don't count in the daily analysis allowance).

Yes, try later, I didn't give a number of hours, so just be patient and wait at least 24h.

@ouhman Not easy to implement, so we are unlikely to do it, we want fishnet to function independently of who is running it and which games are analysed, for ease of maintenance and monitoring.

@VTChess I would suggest getting the players to request analysis after their games as a condition of the tournament, just like handing in the score sheet.

Can I politely point out that if I need to wait at least 24 hours it might have been helpful to tell me that in the first place

I was also unable to request for computer analysis after a few games :(

I have the practice of checking my game for mistakes, (which is why I chose Lichess over the other major pay-for-analysis sites), and I really hope this isn't a permanent restriction... I really want to learn from my mistakes, first through my own review and then with Lichess' analysis help.

Thankfully I read about the daily or weekly limit that you guys mentioned here on the forum. I was really worried.
I'll use the analysis feature less often from now on then... Perhaps just for more complicated games. (Thanks still btw!)

I see it makes sense regarding fishnet.

Another idea, which should be easier to implement, is to increase the analysis allowance for people who are running fishnet ? I think it would encourage more people to run fishnet which should be a win for lichess?

Pretty much having fishnet participation / analysis ratio. What do you think ?

It's also not very "the lichess way" to give more features (ie. computer analysis per day) to some people because they have what is essentially spare money (spare computing power, spare server, etc.).

I see it more like a way to participate and get rewarded for it.

To be honest it's a little frustrating to let fishnet running and not be able to analyze my own games.

Can I ask you a question @Lukhas ? What's the current ratio of games analyzed with fishnet (users) vs lichess' cloud ?

What's unclear currently it's the number of game analysis I can run per day. If I know in advance how many games I can analyze I will carefully select them.

BTW I love lichess you guys are doing a fantastic job !

When will my access be restored please, I am well into my second 24 hours
