Computer analysis not working

"we had to reduce the number of allowed user analysis per week and per day due to some abuse (current limit is at roughly 25 per day and 80 per week)."

I had no idea there was a limit. Does it say so anywhere? And what constitutes "abuse" here?
There always was a limit, but now it's a bit more strict. We will fine tune it so that it doesn't affect regular users.
I won't give numbers because Thibault already said he'll change them so I don't want to lie :)
I was always using the computer analysis tool to learn from my mistakes. So that was abusive behavior? :O
also, I played about 12 games today and was restricted from my 5th game of the day :(
The weekly limit was set a bit too low, we'll increase it.

Checking your own games is not abuse :)
the server I donate cpu cycles to run analysis is showing increased usage. I expect the system is being strained. You do realize that the analysis is assisted by volunteers using their own hardware.

graph shows min, average, max power used by server over the last week. Its not showing nearly the usage dip it used to show in non peak hours. the min and avg are up

here is the process to donate your cpu time to increase the lichess analysis capacity

I have been trying to analyze games from our online USCF rated tournaments this weekend (I am a TD), and after only 5 games or so, I could no longer analyze any more games. I really hope this isn't a permanent change.
@VTChess Most likely a internet issue. Does the computer just stop working or does it say something like "You have analyzed the maximum number of games"
No, a message like that would be quite good. On the laptop it just doesn't run the analysis: on the app it says somethng to the effect that you're not authorised.
